Adventure Learning Center, Ltd., recognizes the importance of open communication between parents and the center. We encourage you to share your questions and concerns with us. Here are some of the requirements of our center staff:
 
  • Lead preschool teachers are degreed and/or experienced in a child related field.
  • Teachers continue their education in the field with mandatory training hours.
  • Teachers are trained in CPR and/or experienced in First Aid.
  • We only hire nurturing and friendly teachers.
  • We run annual police and reference checks.
  • We provide a safe and positive work environment.
  • Teachers receive an annual physical, TB tests and Hepatitis A vaccinations.
 
Christine Smith
Image: ChristineSmith Christine Smith is the Director of Operations at Adventure Learning Center Ltd. She began her journey in the child care field as a certified nanny 20 years ago. Christine has also worked with a Community Action-Head Start program, and has gained experience working with children that have special needs, including Autism, ADHD and ESL. When Christine started at ALC eight years ago, she was the lead teacher of the 3's and 4's classroom (Preschool 2) where she was able to use her skills of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Christine joined the management team 3 1/2 years ago as the Assistant Director. She is currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes to continue her education and is pursuing her Bachelor's degree.
 

Christine spends her free time with her family and her 2 wonderful children. They like to go hiking, biking, and go to the movies and area attractions together. She also enjoys reading, knitting, working in her yard, music and dance.
 
 
Cindy Lybarger

Cindy Lybarger is the Center Director of Adventure Learning Center Ltd. She has her Associates in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree. Cindy has 12 years experience in the child care field. In the classroom, she has worked with all ages from 6 weeks to 12 years. Cindy specializes in infant/toddler and two-year old care. Cindy started in management in 2007 as the Center Director at the Winghaven ALC.

Cindy is a devoted mother to her two children that attend ALC. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to warmer places.
